The recently refurbished Police sign is up on the wall, and we've spruced up the uniform section housed in Cell 1. See more View on facebook 6 years ago Yesterday morning I met with Michael Mulford at the Police Museum who gave me a fascinating presentation on his long time research into one of our more popular exhibits, namely the story of William Henry Bury, the last man to be hanged in Dundee (in 1889) and who is suspected by many of being the infamous Jack The Ripper of Whitechapel in London. Very detailed evidence, fascinating documents, and a truly compelling case. Michael's findings are supported by eminent criminologists, pathologists, and members of the legal profession. Not quite 'case closed', but undoubtedly a very likely candidate for JTR! We'll tell you more about it when you visit the museum. ...
